Join us for a 4-hour pottery workshop at Cline Hou

Join us for a 4-hour pottery workshop at Cline House Gallery in Cornwall, Ontario.

Our in-person hand-building pottery classes teach you to make pottery pieces without a pottery wheel.

If you can use a rolling pin, you can make beautiful, functional pottery pieces like vases, mugs, and planters.

Once the project is completed, it will dry for several days. Then the item will be bisque-fired to over 1900° F.

Next, the item will be glazed in our home pottery studio and a final firing to over 2200° F.

Our October workshop provided time for 10 particip

Our October workshop provided time for 10 participants to get their hands dirty and discover the craft of pottery.

One of the most rewarding aspects of pottery is the ability to create something tangible and lasting with your own hands.

Each participant worked diligently to hand-build a planter with drainage tray adding texture and shapes, and their own creativity. One participant worked to create a butter dish and another a bird feeder.

Bravo to all -- a job well done.

Thank you to the @clinehousegallery who offers a wonderful space to be creative.
